Public Documents show that Michael Jackson has repeatedly failed to make mortgage payments on an LA home that has been in use for years by his family. He has $153,910 in missed payments as of January 17th. on a $4 million loan. His Neverland property in Los Olivos, California is going to be auctioned in March 19th because he's missed payments on his $24.5 million loan.

American Idol Gains Rights To Beatles Songbook

Sony has released the rights to the Beatles songbook to American Idol. This means that the singers can now sing many-loved Beatles classics, like Yellow Submarine, and Love Me Do. It was announced on Ryan Seacrest's (the host of American Idol) Morning Show.

"It's something we've waited for seven seasons now," Idol executive producer Nigel Lythgoe told Seacrest. "Sony has agreed to release the Lennon and McCartney songbook to us."

Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch To Auction

San Francisco-based title is going to be auctioning off on March 19th. Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch if he doesn't pay up the $24 million he owes for the ranch. The 2500 acre property was bought in 1988 for $17 million.

Jackson has mainly been in Las Vegas since he returned to the country in 2006 after spending a year out of the country when police were building a child molestation case against him. He hasn't lived at Neverland since the police incident.

The auction will not just include the property and the 2500-acre land, it will also include al lthe furnishings, the buildings, anything inside the poperty as well.

They want him to do his best selling 'Thriller' album from beginning to end each show, and for encores he'd use several hit from 'Off The Wall' and his other albums. The only catch is that he has to do all these shows by the end of the year, because they want it to tie in with the 25th anniversary of his 'Thriller' album. Britney Spears released ahead of time

Around Wednesday afternoon people spotted Britney Spears wandering around town. She was admitted to the UCLA Medical Center and was supposed to be held for 14 days so they can evaluate her mental condition. It was surprising for everyone including her parents. Jamie Lynn and her mother released this statement:

“… We are deeply concerned about our daughter’s safety and vulnerability and we believe her life is presently at risk. There are conservatorship orders in place created to protect our daughter that are being blatantly disregarded. We ask only that the court’s orders be enforced so that a tragedy may be averted.”

People magazine says that Britney's release was because of "no just cause" for her to be held for the full 14 days. Maybe we'll see an end to all of this Spears drama soon.

Angelina Jolie, a possible mother, is now touring Iraq in protective gear as she follows through with her duty as the UN's Goodwill Ambassador. She says she's in the middle eat because

“what happens in Iraq and how Iraq settles in the years to come is going to affect the entire Middle East. It’s in our best interest to address a humanitarian crisis on this scale because displacement can lead to a lot of instability and aggression.”

Heath Ledgers Funeral, a sad day for many

On Saturday, friends and family gathered around in Australia for Heath Ledgers funeral. There were over a 100 people there as they mourned his death, his two-year-old daughter was not present at the time. The actor died Jan 22nd due to an "accidental" drug overdose. He was starring as the Joker in the Dark Knight movie, luckily they finished it before he passed away. I don't know what they'd do if it happened while they were filming. Later on his family held a private funeral for him that consisted of only 10 people.
